Application of GIS Technologies and Modern Communication Technologies on Navigation on the Danube

We would like to introduce in this paper some new technologies which to improve navigation system on the Danube. These are technologies as follows:

  • GIS Technologies
  • GPS Technologies
  • Radio Communication Systems
On the ships and on the coast. We have had wishes to introduce in short shape but we will present only modern Technologies and modern Systems that today exist in the World.
