Suggestions for solution to the problems in the traffic network caused by the existance and functioning of the Port of Smederevo

The level of a contemporary state development competes in addition through the level of it's traffic system development. The developed traffic infrastructure enables the costs reduction and increasing of goods and passenger speed transportation, what presents significant dimension and precondition for functioning of economy of state and society at all. In that sense, the further development of Smederevo as a city will sure completely depends on the fact how much will be in position to use it's advantages, first of all favorable position regarding to geographical-territorial view. Stable and dominant geographical location provides to Smederevo city an extraordinary development prospects. Considering the fact that such location enabled in Smederevo a development, practically all of three types of transport - land, water-born and air, it is logically assume that in further development, the transport will present strategic advantage of Smederevo, as well as the huge economic potential. Port of Smederevo as one of the primary factors of present and the future development of economic potentials of Smederevo and it's region, captures very important place in analyzing of traffic capacities in city territory.
