Development of Rural Tourism in the Danube Basin from the Aspect of Sustainable Development

As a result of mass tourism, one important problem become harmonizing tourism whit eco development. Rapid expansion of tourism and it s most important role in rural tourism, has a destructive impact on natural environment and become serious problem. Because of that sustainable tourism need to become one integral part of rural tourism in Danube Basin. Eco tourism need to preserve quality of naturel environment, as also harmonize touristic demand with capacity of rural areas.

It is obvius that in short term, rural areas will have benefits of mass tourism development. However, for insurance sustainability of development it is necessary to realise whole set of activity in long term, as: managing the natural resources, market segmentation, developing adequate organisation structure and constant evaluation resources.
