The Impact of Globalization on Sustainable Development of Eco-Tourism

Today, when Globalizaation is the main key of the human prosperity, we have to justify that it brings radical changes to the travel markets as well. Changes in Technology, Economics, Finance and Politics are the cause of different positioning of free time, holiday travel, buying decisions, spending. Proces of globalization is also calling into question: distance, motivations and taveling.

Changing patterns of World market have very big influence on the Travel market: Tourist demand for the Special interest holidays growing. Because of that, segmentation of the travel market is very important especially internal diversity. Many modern forms on Tourism started as Special interests: Author of this paper is going to explore acertain vision of the future eco-tourism. Main focus will be on sustainable development of eco area and impact of Globalization.

Creation of development strategy for eco tourism on national, regional and international level may through analyzing the components and values which are the main keys to global competitiveness strategy. For the Danube Basin it is very important to have its own strategy according to the interest for developing eco tourism in the area.
