The Seminary at the Universitas Danubiana study in all aspects, as well political and economic, the regional and inter-regional forms of cooperation. It is in charge of eminent academicians, research fellows, university-profesors, ministers, deputy-ministers, prominent businessmen and other experts, both Yugoslav and foreign.
The participants have the opportunity to get the Certification of the Universitas Danubiana which could enrich their curriculum vitae, but what is even more valuable, they have the opportunity to get information on different topics concerning international cooperation and to learn different conceptions about it. They have the opportunity to raise questions and to discuss several subjects with prominent lecturers and even to give information about their experience.
The Universitas Danubiana have the confidence of European Peace Research Association (EuPRA), and enjoy conceptual support from other international organizations in the framework of the United Nations and the Council of Europe, too. The same is true concerning the support from the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the FRY. On the other hand, it has no financial support other than the contributions of the participants and private donations, which cover the expenses and without any profit.
Universitas Danubiana as an international meeting-place for learning each others culture, way of thinking, the mutual problems and possibilities for mutual action in learning. The road is very long, but we do succeeded to start. In the academic year 1996-1997 we had 144 participants in the six-month Seminary, thinking and discussing together on different topics of international cooperation. The lectures were given by experts from Yugoslavia, Hungary and Slovenia. Edita Stojic, the director of the Universitas Danubiana, sad: "It was so enjoyable, that even the very hard financial problems could not frustrate us from the activities of the Universitas Danubiana."
